Hello there.

we are trying to get redmine installed on my bluehost account against domain: dev-solution.org/redmine
However, following your HowTo have left us as stranded as any other HowTos we have found.

There are for instance three lines in your Shell commands that are truly confusing and we cannot find any explenations on them anywhere.

/*
sed 's|\:domain => "somenet.foo",|\:domain => "yourdomain.com",|g' config/environment.rb > TMPFILE && mv TMPFILE config/environment.rb
sed 's|\:user_name => "redmine@somenet.foo",|\:user_name => "mailuser@yourdomain.com",|g' config/environment.rb > TMPFILE && mv TMPFILE config/environment.rb
sed 's|\:password => "redmine",|\:password => "password for mailuser@yourdomain.com",|g' config/environment.rb > TMPFILE && mv TMPFILE config/environment.rb
*/

what exactly should be written where in these lines? somenet.foo explains very litle, when looking it up it was explained as a default email of the admin mailer? however should it then be somemail@somenet.foo in that case?

In any case, it would be greatly appreciated to get some help on this.

Léonie: For the htpasswd error, try step 5 again after step 2 of Trac installation.
The aprutil is built there.
For the Clearsilver error, this I'll have to try to reproduce and I will post my findings here.

I am going to do an upgrade of our Hg/Trac installation here pretty soon, and will then make a guide on how to do that as well. (And hopefully I'll get the errors you got so I can investigate a bit.)

Thanks for this "great how to".
On the Mercurial installation on step 5 I keep getting the following error:

htpasswd: error while loading shared libraries: libaprutil-1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I checked in packages/lib/ and there is no such file. Just the "libaprutil-0.so.0".

Any tips for me?
Thanks in advance, Léonie
